ARTIST STATEMENT
I like to think of photography as a roller coaster. The slow climb represents my process of observing, planning, and reflecting—figuring out what truly matters in each scene I shoot. Then comes the drop: the rush of the shutter clicking, the surge of dopamine, the adrenaline that pushes me to keep shooting, chasing that fleeting high. When I can feel that momentum—when I can visualize the roller coaster—I know I’m creating something honest, and something that I am proud of.
This body of work explores human connection through the process of making music. It captures candid moments between artists—those unscripted, in-between instants when collaboration turns into creation. I’m drawn to people and their stories, fascinated by how each mind works in its own rhythm. Translating someone else’s abstract idea—or the energy of multiple people—into images that match the vision in my head is one of the most fulfilling experiences I know.
