Chelsea vs PSG at MetLife Stadium (New Jersey- United States) on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
It was a summer night at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey. More than 80,000 fans came to watch Chelsea play Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final.
In the 22nd minute, Malo Gusto passed the ball to Cole Palmer, who scored the first goal for Chelsea. Only eight minutes later, Palmer scored again with a strong shot. Chelsea led 2–0.
Before halftime, Palmer gave a smart pass to João Pedro, who chipped the ball over Donnarumma to make it 3–0. The Chelsea fans cheered loudly, while PSG looked shocked.
In the second half, PSG attacked more, but Chelsea’s defense stayed strong, and goalkeeper Robert Sánchez made good saves. In the 85th minute, João Neves of PSG got a red card for pulling Cucurella’s hair.
The match ended 3–0. Chelsea became champions of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Cole Palmer was the star with two goals and one assist.
